After breakfast, we headed to the main attraction of the day: Tasik Cermin (Mirror Lake). Hidden within limestone karst towers, this stunning lake is one of Ipoh’s best-kept secrets.
Our residents enjoyed a tranquil boat ride across the water, taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding cliffs reflecting perfectly off the glassy surface of the lake. It was a serene and accessible nature experience, offering everyone a chance to immerse themselves in the quiet beauty of the landscape.
Embracing Perak’s rich heritage, the group took a mid-day break to savor authentic, aromatic Ipoh White Coffee. The culinary journey continued with a multi-course lunch at a renowned local Chinese restaurant, providing a comfortable setting for residents to relax and socialize. Before boarding the transport back to Penang, the itinerary concluded with a dedicated shopping stop, allowing residents to purchase local specialties and famous regional products to bring back to their apartments.
